Second segment partially quadrangular with one smooth dorso-medial seta and without Rome organ; third segment with one long dorsal and two small ventro-apical setae; fourth segment with two unequally long ventro-apical setae and with two long dorsal setae; fifth segment with five unequally long setae; one long dorso-apical seta, reaching half way of terminal setae, one medium sized seta, and one very thin seta, two ventral setae long, extending ¾ of terminal setae; sixth (penultimate) segment with two equally long dorso-apical setae and three ventral setae; terminal (seventh) segment with three long setae and aesthetasc ya, three times longer than the length of the terminal segment.
A2 ( Fig. 9B View FIGURE 9 ): Four-segmented. First segment with one smooth ventro-apical seta and three short basal setae. Second (first endopodal) segment with one long and two short exopodal setae, one short (sixth seta) and five long natatory setae extending tips of the terminal claws. Aesthetasc Y two-segmented. Penultimate (third) segment undivided with two long dorsal setae, four t-setae (t3>t4>t2>t1, t1 and t2 plumose), aesthetasc y2 longer than terminal segment. z-setae (z3>z2>z1) unequally long. Claws (G1>G3>G2) well developed and serrated. Terminal segment with well-developed GM and a short Gm claw (short, about 2/4 of GM), both serrated; aesthetasc y3 almost the same length as the terminal segment.
Md ( Fig. 9C View FIGURE 9 ): Md-coxa with seven strong teeth, thin inner setae, and long, thin dorsal seta. Md-palp four-segmented; first segment with a long smooth seta, unequally long, plumose S1 and S2 setae, α setae thin and lunate. Vibratory plate with five plumose setae in different lengths. Second segment with four long plumose setae, β seta very thin, plumose, about the length of the second segment, and three external setae of almost equal length. Penultimate (third) segment with five long smooth external setae, γ seta robust with setules distally (reaching beyond the terminal segment), three smooth unequally long internal setae and two small setae. Terminal segment with two claws and two smooth setae.
