Genus Boliviela DeLong View in CoL
Moderately large, slightly robust species, length 7.50–9.50 mm. General habitus color dark brown to black with numerous ivory to yellow markings; forewings with small yellow spots on veins, sometimes with 1–2 large yellow spots on costa or apex. Head narrower than pronotum, sometimes distinctly so; crown narrower to wider than width of eyes, produced distally from ¼ to 1/3 of its length beyond anterior margin of eyes; pronotum shorter to longer than median length of crown; mesonotum about equal in length to pronotum; forewing typical; clypellus broad, inflated basally; male pygofer with prominent caudal processes; aedeagus always inflated, varying subbasal to medial, shaft with processes or flanges varying from base to apex; style very long, nearly always inflated apically; dorsal connective bifurcate basally, arms attached subbasally to but not enclosing shaft, attached distally by membrane to ventrobasal area of segment X.
