Genus Gracilidia Nielson View in CoL
The concept of the genus is basically identical to that originally proposed ( Nielson 1988). Among new species described herein, the caudoventral process of the pygofer is very long, narrow, membranous and sometimes very difficult to see. The process is reduced to a very small membranous lobe in 2 known species, including the typespecies. Also, the style and aedeagus are narrower and more elongated in some species than in the type-species. The type-species, Gracilidia gracilis Nielson was re-examined to confirm it relationship to the other genera elucidated in this work.
