Remarks: Only the name and two figures of E. purpurascens were published by Packard in 1872. Nevertheless, this name is available according to the Article 12.2.7. (ICZN) and has a priority over more detailed description published by Packard later (1873) in “The Fifth Annual Report of the Trustees of the Peabody Academy of Science”.
