Comments. This is the first record of H. formosus from the Jazan Province. It was first recorded from Saudi Arabia (Hutet Beni Tamim, 180 km south of Riyadh) by Gadallah et al. (2013). Characters of our female specimen agree with Dollfuss’ key (1991: 192, couplet 4) in having the following combination of characters: Body relatively large (6.5 mm); gaster marked with white, T1 with two lateral spots posteriorly, T2 with two larger, quadrate spots laterally and connecting together by a thin transverse band; T5 with a broad complete band medially; thorax mostly red, dorsal enclosure of propodeum black, wrinkled; forewing stigma dark brown; inner orbit of eye yellowish.
