Material examined. EAST TIMOR. West of Dili, off Tibar , on outer side of reef, reef slope, 08°33’48”S 125°28’31” E, Porites lobata lump, 7.5 m depth, 21 Sep 2012, coll. A. Murray, 1 spec. ( AM W.45648) GoogleMaps .

Habitat. Common in all substrates, including amongst algae, calcareous concretions, sponges, dead corals, bryozoans, hydroids, ascidians, sand, silty clay and gravel; from intertidal to 50 m deep. ( San Martín et al. 2008b).

Distribution. China ( Hong Kong), Philippines (Luzón, Palawan), Australia (Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia) ( Álvarez-Campos et al. 2017b). First record for East Timor.
