Diagnosis. The peritrematal shield is not fused anteriorly with the dorsal shield. All dorsal setae, short subequal, dorsal shield broad, truncate posteriorly; some forward migration of setae JV2 and ZV2 on reduced female ventrianal shield, legs with macrosetae, chelicerae of variable size and shape, all shields weakly sclerotised; sternal shield without posterior projection; genital shield as wide or wider than ventri-anal shield ( Chant & McMurtry, 2006a).
