Female: Dorsal shield smooth, 360 long, 240 wide, with five pairs of pores. Measurements of dorsal setae: j1 35, j3, j4 40, j5 30, j6 41, J2 30, J5 7, z2 35, z4 46, z5 30, Z1 32, Z4 42, Z5 65, s4 50, S2 50, S4 46, S5 52, r3 32, R1 24, JV5 70. All dorsal and ventral setae smooth. Peritrematal shield fused anteriorly with dorsal shield, reaching level of z4. Sternal shield smooth, with posterior lobe, distances between St I-St III 70 , St II-St II 70 , St IV on platelets. Genital shield 78 wide.Ventri-anal shield 115 long, 70 wide, with a pair of crescentic pre-anal pores and three pairs of pre-anal setae (JV1, JV2, ZV2). A pair of metapodal platelets, two pairs of sigillar sclerites and four pairs of setae surrounding ventri-anal shield. Fixed digit of chelicera with six terminal small teeth, and two posterior small ones, movable digit with one tooth. Spermatheca calyx 36 long, anteriorly enlarged, posteriorly filamentous and flared distally. Macrosetae sharp, Sge II 27 , Sge III 27 , Sti III 35 , Sge IV 58 ; 40, Sti IV 48 ; 48, St IV 76 . Chaetotaxy: genu II 2 , 2 / 0, 2/0, 1, genu III 1 , 2 /1, 2/0, 1.
Remarks. This species is similar to E. majengo in the general diagnostic characters. The number and distribution of teeth on the fixed digit, lengths of setae j3, Z4, Z5 and the knobbed macrosetae in E. majengo and the setiform macrosetae in E. shinyalus will distinctly separate these species. The male is unknown.
