Material examined. Kenya, 1 female, Pate Island , Coast Province, July 20, 2005 (El-Banhawy) .
Female: Dorsal shield 300 long, 135 wide, with lateral striations and five pairs of pores. Measurements of dorsal setae: j1 15, j3 16, j4, j5 13, j6 18, J2 21, J5 9, z2 14, z3, z4 16, z5 17, Z4 21, Z5 35, s4 17, s6 18, S2 23, S4 22, S5 21, r3 14, R1 18, JV5 28. Setae Z 4, Z5 serrated, Z5 knobbed. Peritrematal shield fused anteriorly with dorsal shield, reaching level of j1. Sternal shield indiscernible, St IV on platelets. Genital shield 62 wide. Ventri-anal shield 95 long, 70 wide, with a pair of small pre-anal pores and four pairs of pre-anal setae (JV1, JV2, JV3, ZV2). Two pairs of metapodal platelets, two pairs of sigillar sclerites and four pairs of setae surrounding ventri-anal shield. Fixed digit of chelicera with three teeth, movable digit with three teeth. Spermatheca calyx long, tubular, slightly flared distally, 35 long, atrium nodular, 4 long. Macroseta knobbed, Sge IV 18 . Chaetotaxy : genu II 2 , 2 / 0, 2/0, 1, genu III 1 , 2 /1, 2/0, 1.
Remarks. The female holotype was collected from Limpopo Province, Blouberg, South Africa February 11, 1996, L. Erasmus ( Schultz, 1973). The male is unknown.
