Material examined. Holotype female, Kenya, Naivasha , Rift Valley Province, altitude 1700 m, May 4, 2006 (El- Banhawy).

Female: Dorsal shield reticulated, 313 long, 196 wide, with four pairs of pores. Measurements of dorsal setae: j1 14, j 3 17, j4, j5 12, j6 14, J2 18, J5 12, z2 15, z3, z4 18, z5 14, Z4 23, Z5 37, s4 20, s6 23, S2 21, S4 25, S5 23, r3 12, R1 broken, JV5 28. Setae Z 5 knobbed and serrated, Z4, JV5 stout and pointed, remaining setae short and stout. Peritrematal shield fused anteriorly with dorsal shield, reaching level of j1. Sternal shield, distances between St I-St III 60 , St II-St II 55 , St IV on platelets. Genital shield 71 wide. Ventri-anal shield 100 long, 74 wide, with a pair of very small round pre-anal pores close to each other and four pairs of pre-anal setae (JV1, JV2, JV3, ZV2). Two pairs of metapodal platelets, two pairs of sigillar sclerites and four pairs of setae surrounding ventri-anal shield. Chelicera indiscernible. Spermatheca calyx bell-shaped, 14 long, bifurcate anteriorly, atrium conspicuous, 9 long. Macrosetae, Sge IV 15 , Sti IV 18 ; 18, St IV 20 ; 20. Chaetotaxy : genu II 2 , 2 / 0, 2/0, 1, genu III 1 , 2 /1, 2/0, 1.

Remarks. The bifurcate calyx of the spermatheca and the number of macrosetae on leg IV and shape of most dorsal setae separate it from the closest species, T. michaeli Ueckermann & Loots. The male is unknown
