Female: Dorsal shield reticulated, 310 long, 180 wide. Measurements of dorsal setae: j1 22, j3 12, j4 7, j5 13, j6 9, J2 12, J5 9, z2, z3 12, z4 13, z5 7, Z4 14, Z5 32, s4 14, s6 15, S2, S4, S5 16, r3, R1 14, JV5, 22. Setae Z 5, JV5 serrated and knobbed, remaining setae smooth. Peritrematal shield fused anteriorly with dorsal shield, reaching level of j1. Sternal shield with posterior median lobe, distances between St I-St III 56 , St II-St II 56 , St III off shield, St IV free on integument. Genital shield 64 wide. Ventri-anal shield 104 long, 84 wide (L/W ratio 1.2: 1), with a pair of small round pre-anal pores and four pairs of pre-anal setae (JV1, JV2, JV3, ZV2). Two pairs of metapodal platelets, two pairs of sigillar sclerites and four pairs of setae surrounding ventri-anal shield. Fixed digit of chelicera with three teeth, movable digit with two teeth. Spermatheca bell-shaped, 12 long, 6 wide, at mid point, atrium small. Macrosetae short and blunt: Sge IV 12 , Sti IV 14 , St IV 28 . Chaetotaxy : genu II 2 , 2 / 0, 2/0, 1, genu III 1 , 2 / 1, 2/0, 1.
Remarks. This species is similar to Typhlodromus ndibu Pritchard & Baker. The presence of St III off shield, the short and simple Z4, and the broad cup shaped calyx of spermatheca distiguish the new species. The male is unknown.
