NOTES: Condylostylus has been recorded from the Nearctic, Neotropical, Afrotropical, and Oriental realms as well as Polynesia, and is primarily a tropical genus. Species of this and allied genera represent the majority of Dolichopodidae in the tropics. Condylostylus is most diverse in the Neotropics.
