HARMSTONIA Robinson, 1964: 122 View in CoL . Type species: Harmstonia intricata Robinson View in CoL [Nearctic], by original designation.

NOTES: Harmstonia View in CoL is known from the New World, with the highest species richness in the Neotropics. In North America, species of Harmstonia View in CoL occur on mud at edges of streams and on moist rock surfaces and seem to be restricted to limestone regions ( Robinson, 1964).
