NOTES: Enlinia View in CoL is known only from the New World and contains some of the smallest members of the family. Species of Enlinia View in CoL are typically found hovering close to wet soil or rock surfaces. Both their size and habits have undoubtedly contributed to their rarity in traditional sweepnet collections; however, they are sometimes taken in large numbers in Malaise trap catches.
