NOTES: Neurigona is known from all realms and like many members of the Sciapodinae and Medeterinae , occurs on tree trunks and low vegetation. The Nearctic Neurigona fauna is very diverse compared to that of the Palearctic and Neotropics, although the latter undoubtedly contains a large number of undescribed species ( Naglis, 2003b).
