Distribution.

Endemic to New Guinea. Described by Carvalho (1971) from Maffin Bay, Dutch New Guinea, the species was recently cited for the first time from Papua New Guinea ( Cassis et al. 2012).

Remark.

The genus Irianocoris was transferred from Orthotylini to Austromirini by Cassis, Cheng and Tatarnic (2012).
