Note: An illegitimate renaming of Hieracium tomentosum L. (1755) , as noted by Nordenstam (in Bot. Not. 114: 277. 1961). Although also published in a revised version of the original thesis in Amoen. Acad. 4: 288 (Nov 1759), A. lanata was first published some months earlier in Syst. Nat., ed. 10, 2: 1196 ( May–Jun 1759).
