Specimen examined. 1 female, W mine, St. B, alt. 1,672 m, by SWA, 20. viii .

Remarks. This genus was defined by Kurbatov (2007) with the type species, Batrisus quinquesulcatus Raffray, 1894 known from Singapore and seven new species were described. Later, Yin et al. (2011) added three species from China. Then, eleven species have been known in this genus. Although no named species of this genus has been known from Vietnam according to Nomura (2013), some unnamed species are already recognized in Vietnam (Nomura, unpublished).
