Diagnosis ( Besuchet, 2008: 70): Length 2.00 mm, head elongate, about 1.30 times as long as wide and about 0.85 as long as pronotum, eyes large and prominent, rostrum triangular, pronotum as long as wide, with antebasal fovea and median sulcus, elytra longer than pronotum, with sutural striae, simple, lacking trichomes, posterior corners slightly rounded, sexual modifications unknown, abdomen with relatively narrow, transverse impression. Antennae with antennomeres I −II small, III −V elongate, subequal, more than twice as long as wide, terminal antennomere slightly longer than V, rhombic, truncate at apex.

Species included. Archiclaviger overbecki Heller, 1936 .
