Lectotype ( Vázquez & al. in Anales Jard. Bot. Madrid 52: 183. 1995): Herb. Linn. No. 84.4 ( LINN) .

Current name: Stipa bromoides (L.) View in CoL Dörfl. ( Poaceae ).

Note: Freitag (in Notes Roy. Bot. Gard. Edinburgh 42: 401. 1985) designated 94.6 (LINN) as lectotype but Vázquez & al. argued persuasively that his choice was not original material for the name.
