Definition. Sinuous raphidiform ectosomal oxeas/ styles protruding through the surface in sparse plumose bundles, supported by long sinuous extra-axial styles in sparse plumose tracts, embedded in a choanosomal skeleton of variable structure (halichondroid to axially compressed) composed of choanosomal oxeas in bundles, with coarsely spined centrangulate microxeas tangential and below the surface (not forming a crust).
