FIRST RECORD FOR THE VALDIERI AREA. — Turati (1910).
CHOROTYPE. — S European.
ECOLOGY. — In vicinity of broadleaved and coniferous forests. One of the most common Zygaenidae in the southern Alps and in Italy ( Naumann et al. 1999). Known lhp belong to the genus Astragalus .
