Diagnosis. Thecobathra casta can be distinguished in the male genitalia by the stout socius, the sacculus with a long, slender dorsoapical thorn, and the aedeagus with 6‒7 large teeth running from basal 1/4 to 3/4 ( Moriuti 1971: 233, fig. 2).
Distribution. China (Yunnan), Bhutan, India.
Note. This species is newly recorded for China.
