Diagnosis. O. eminens is similar to O. extensa (in the extensa species-group) and O. fuscopurpurea on wing pattern. In O. eminens , the forewing apex is more protruding than in the other two species; the broad yellow postmedial line is inwardly concave above CuA2, but much narrower and straighter in O. extensa and O. fuscopurpurea . The male genitalia are similar to those of O. liensis in the semicircular uncus, stick-like median process of the gnathos, the pointed distal-medial and ventral processes on the valva, and the almost quadrate saccus. However, O. eminens can be distinguished by the following characters: the valva is much longer than that of O. liensis ; the distal-medial process on the valva is longer than the ventral one, while it is shorter than the latter in O. liensis . The female genitalia of these two species have a broad corpus bursae but without a signum.

Distribution. China (Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, Fujian, Guangxi, Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan), Korea, Japan, Myanmar.
