Oreta hoenei Watson, 1967 View in CoL
Oreta hoenei Watson, 1967 View in CoL , Bull. Br. Mus. nat . Hist. (Ent.), 19 (3): 172. Holotype 3, China: S. Shensi, Tapaishan im Tsinling (ZFMK).
Diagnosis. O. hoenei is close to O. loochooana , and occurs in two forms. Compared to O. loochooana , O. hoenei has the forewing apex more distinctly falcate, the forewing outer margin being more deeply concave under the apex, and more protruding medially. O. hoenei is also close to O. paki on both external (the brown form) and genital characters, and cannot be distinguished externally. In the male genitalia, the sacculus is much broader, leaflike, and bears a small spine in O. hoenei , while it is narrowly pointed and bears two smaller spines in O. paki , and is smooth and slender in O. loochooana . The end of the aedeagus of O. hoenei is ringed with spines, with a posterior digitate process, but lacks spines or a process in O. paki . The female genitalia of O. hoenei , O. paki and O. loochooana all have a large corpus bursae and a spinose signum.
Distribution. China (Heilongjiang, Shanxi, Henan, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Gansu, Zhejiang, Hubei, Jiangxi, Hunan, Fujian, Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan).
