Only four specimens of Tiluropsis   ZBK were recorded in the present study during spring and winter cruises (Figure 8). These larvae had never been recorded for the Brazilian coast and there is no description of adults for this region either. The pigment pattern resembles the one observed for the family Halosauridae and suggests that Tiluropsis   ZBK may be a larval halosaurid (Smith, 1989c). Study Material: DZUFRJ 2816, 2817, 2841, 2842; four specimens; 16.0-63.0 mm SL.
