Distribution. Bhutan, Cambodia, China (Fujian, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Xizang, Yunnan), India (Meghalaya, West Bengal), Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam.
Biology. The species is polyphagous, and has been recorded from five genera in five different families ( Lamiaceae , Lauraceae , Magnoliaceae , Rutaceae , Symplocaceae ) ( Wood & Bright 1992; Beaver & Liu 2010).
