Habitat and geographical distribution.
Saprobe on dead stems of an unidentified broadleaf tree, known only in China ( Li et al. 2017).
Notes.
Fuscocatenula variegata resembles F. submersa but differs in shorter conidia 8.5-11 × 5.5-7.5 μm and shorter conidiophores 150-270 × 4.5-8 μm ( Li et al. 2017).
