Current name: Plantago lagopus L. ( Plantaginaceae ).

Note: Patzak & Rechinger (in Rechinger, Fl. Iranica 15: 13. 1965) indicated unspecified material in LINN as the type, but did not distinguish between sheets 144.12 and 144.14 (which are evidently not part of a single gathering so Art. 9.15 does not apply).
