Figs. 1−4 View FIGURES 1 − 24 , 25−30 View FIGURES 25 − 29 View FIGURE 30
Scobura cephaloides kinka Evans, 1949: 294 View in CoL (Type locality: Tonkin, Vietnam); Pinratana, 1985: 69; Osada et al., 1999: Plate 140.
Scobura cephaloides: Chou, 1994: 738 View in CoL .
Scobura View in CoL sp. (sp. incer.): Gu & Chen, 1997: 326.
Zographetus hainanus Gu & Wang, 1997: 329 , syn. nov. (Type locality: Hainan, China)
Diagnosis
Forewing length 15−17 mm. Hindwing upperside with small white spots in spaces CuA1 and M3, sometimes one spot in space M1; underside of basal half of hindwing yellow, distal half ferruginous, with five small white spots.
Male genitalia ( Figs. 25−29 View FIGURES 25 − 29 ): Tegumen without socius; uncus longer than tegumen, tapered distally; saccus short and broad; valva with ventrodistal process blunt; aedeagus with suprazonal sheath prominently shorter than subzonal sheath; juxta U-shaped.
Female genitalia ( Fig. 30 View FIGURE 30 ): Papillae anales rectangular, sclerotized and covered with hairs; apophysis posterioris slender and long; anterior lamella W-shaped and conical centrally; posterior lamella trapeziumshaped with upper margin straight, lateral angle pointed; ductus bursa short, membranous; bursa copulatrix elongate, membranous.
Material examined
13, Jianfengling, Hainan, 31.V.1990, M.B. Gu ( Zographetus hainanus Gu & Wang, 1997 : Holotype); 23, 1Ƥ, Yinggeling, Hainan, 14.V.2005, M. Wang & L.S. Chen.
Remarks
Zographetus hainanus was described from Hainan Province, China. It was incorrectly assigned to the genus Zographetus View in CoL due to the superficial resemblance. We examined the holotype of Z. hainanus and based on wing pattern ( Figs. 1−4 View FIGURES 1 − 24 ) and male genitalia ( Figs. 25−29 View FIGURES 25 − 29 ), we concluded that it is identical to S. cephaloides kinka Evans, 1949 View in CoL . Female genitalia are described here for the first time.
