Eremyia Greathead, 1996 a: 15 . Type species: Chasmoneura argentata Greathead, 1967 , by original designation.
Comments: Eremyia was proposed for three species, formerly in Bombylisoma , from the eastern half of the Eremian Region, which form a terminal clade with Bombylisoma in phylogenetic analyses (Greathead unpublished). They are readily separated by from it by the vestigial pulvilli and silver-scale spots on either side of the antennae in both sexes.

Distribution: Caucasus to Central Asia, India and northeast Africa.Afrotropical: Eritrea: 1 species Eremyia argentata (Greathead) .
