Euphysothrips minozzii Bagnall, 1926b: 646 View in CoL
The species was first described from France and subsequently recorded from several Mediterranian countries ( Mound 2018) and India. It is distinguished from E. subramanii View in CoL by: Longest veinal setae on fore wings with no longer than width of wing; anterior margin of pronotum with 8–10 irregularly spaced setae; metanotal CPS absent; anterior pair of CPS present on tergite IX; sternites without craspedum. In contrast E. subramanii View in CoL has the fore wings with at least two distal setae rwice as long as the fore wing width; anterior margin of pronotum with around 16 setae placed equally distant from each other. CPS on metanotum present; anterior CPS on tergite IX absent ( Mound 2018).
Material studied. Al Baha. Thee Ain Village , three females from Cenchrus echinatus , 7.iv.2019, ( BT) ; Almendaq, Wadi Turabah , one female from grasses, 6.iv.2019, ( BT) ; Baljurashi , four females, two males from grasses, 22.ix.2020, ( BT) .
