Craspedothrips View in CoL View at ENA zur Strassen
This Old World genus comprises 10 species spread across the Paleotropical area between Africa and northern Australia ( Mound et al. 2012). The genus is very similar to Ceratothripoides and Megalurothrips of Megalurothrips genus group, however, it can be distinguished from both by: tergite VIII without posteromarginal comb and with distinct ctenidium-like row of microtrichia anterior to each spiracle.
