The species was described from Riyadh province of Saudi Arabia from leaves of halophytic shrub Tetraena simplex . The male of this species can be recognized by narrow and strongly transverse pore plates at sternites III–VII and tergite IX with long curved paired processes on (longer than 95 microns).
