Bolacothrips jordani Uzel, 1895: 212 View in CoL
This is Palearctic species, described from Czech Republic and is widespread in Europe. It is largely associated with Poaceae View in CoL for feeding and breeding. The species is very close to B. africanus View in CoL from South Africa but is distinguished by its largely yellow body, in contrast to the brown body of B. africanus ( Rozhina 2020) View in CoL .
Material studied. Al Baha. Thee ain Village , six females, four males from Cenchrus sp. 25.ix.2020, ( BT) .
