Rejected records from Turkey: Malatya Province ( Pešiċ et al. 2006).
Remarks. Axonopsis serrata is characterized by the spine–like projections on the dorsal shield ( Fig. 4A View FIGURE 4 A – G ), more spine-like processes associated with the first and second coxae ( Fig. 4B–D View FIGURE 4 A – G ), a small projections on the lateral margins of the ventral shield ( Fig. 4B–D View FIGURE 4 A – G ) (see Walter 1928, Lundblad 1956) and the presence of a heavy seta on the ventral side of P-4 ( Fig. 4F View FIGURE 4 A – G ).
Distribution. Central and southern parts of the western Palaearctic (Pešiċ et al. 2010).
