Canthidium coerulescens Balthasar, 1939d: 117 View in CoL (original description). Type locality: Ecuador: eastern slopes of the Andes: “Teremotillo, Iivaria” (unknown province) and “Santa Inéz” (possibly Santa Inéz in the province of Tungurahua; see Paynter 1993). Name-bearing type: three known syntypes (NMPC and SMF), examined by FZVM (see also Bezdĕk & Hájek 2012 View Cited Treatment ).
