Diagnosis. Body dark spots, not as dense as in the other known species, Faint pink stripes on pronotum, legs and abdomen; whitish yellow strip of the face most prominent than other describe species, spots on the pronotal disc prominent. Cerci 1.3 times as long as the subgenital plate, basal and distal portion black. Apical lobes of subgenital plate unexpanded sideways, rectangular an armed with small and ovoid styles (styles more conspicuous than Quiva (Quiva) gutjahrae n. sp.). Ovipositor of the female curving upward and the valves finely serrated from mesal to apical section, conical cerci as long as the feminine subgenital plate, basal plate of ovipositor ovoid without any modification, subgenital plate slightly notched apex.
Measurements (♂/♀). LB: 13,2–16,7 mm; Pr: 3,8–4,8 mm; Teg: 21,2–24,1 mm; HF: 3,8–4,9 mm; HT: 3,6– 5,5 mm; PS: 1,9–2,4 mm; Ov: 3,9 mm.
Comments. The synonymy of Ituana dorisae Piza, 1967 is confirmed, when compared to the female and male of Q. abacata collected in Bom Jardín, which the type specimens of I. dorisae and Q. abacata are the same species.
