Etymology: — Species name kotadduensis (Latin) refers to the type locality of the taxon Kot Addu, Punjab, Pakistan.

Diagnosis:—Reddish brown to dull reddish brown squamules, dull reddish brown Lamellae with 0–2 tiers, absence of annulus, utriform and knobbed cheilocystidia, oblong caulocystidia hyaline to olivaceous.

Holotype:— Pakistan. Punjab, Muzaffargarh District, Indus Riverbed, near Safari Park , Kot Addu , (30°14’44”N, 70°51’04”E, 134 m asl.) on soil, rich in organic matter, Aug. 18, 2021, Muhammad Haqnawaz , ( LAH37122 About LAH ). Description:—Basidiocarps annual, terrestrial, small-sized, gregarious. Pileus 29–31 mm diam, light gray (10 YR 8/2) at the margin, reddish brown (10YR 8/3)) at the center, convex to plane at a mature stage, straight, dry, squamosa dull reddish brown (2.5 YR 5/3) regular, soft, regular thickness. Lamellae dull reddish brown (2.5 YR 5/3) free, narrow, average, entire, sub distance, unequal, 0–2 lamellulae. Stipe 30–36 × 2–3 mm light yellow (7.5 YR 8/4), central, carved, equal, rough surface with scabrous, Volva and Annulus absent Odor and Taste not recorded.

Basidiospores [50/2/2] (5.1–)5.3–6.4 (–6.5) × (3.3–)3.4–3.9(–4.0) µm, avl × avw = 5.7 × 3.5 µm, Q = 1.3–1.8 µm, Q av = 1.6 µm, ellipsoid to oblong, pinkish to reddish with light green guttules, inamyloid, thick-walled, smooth. Basidia (15.3–)14.7–20.6(–20.9) × (6.1–)6.3–8.0 (–8.3) µm, avl × avw = 81.1 × 7.0 µm, clavate, hyaline to slightly olivaceous in 5% KOH, inamyloid, thick-walled, clamp connections not observed 1–4 sterigmata. Cheilocystidia (15.7–)17.1–25.3(–27.8) × (5.7–)5.9–10.2(–10.9) µm, avl ×avw = 20.2 × 7.3 µm, utriform, knobbed, grayish brown in 5% KOH, inamyloid, thin-walled, and clamp connections not observed. Caulocystidia (13.3–)14.8–26.4(–35.2) × (3.7–)3.8–6.3 (–8.6) µm, avl ×avw = 18.99 × 4.8 µm, oblong, rarely ellipsoid, hyaline to olivaceous in 5% KOH, inamyloid, thick-walled. Pileipellis 10 – 19.5 × 5.5 – 7.6 µm, avw = 13.89 × 6.59 µm, irregular trichoderm, clavate ending cells, rarely epithelioid cell, olivaceous to gray and greenish wall in 5% KOH, thin-walled, smooth and clamp connections absent. Stipe covering hyphae 2.1–7.6 µm, avw = 4.4 µm, irregular trichoderm, hyaline to olivaceous in 5% KOH, thin-walled, septate, branched, regular, clamp connection present.
