Brazil, Pará, Santarém, Spruce [10 03] (lectotype, designated here from the syntypes: K! [000502886]; isolectotypes: FI! [009795], G! [00364892], K! [000930235], M! [0240670], NY! [00006421], P! [00708488], TCD! [0004431]).

Note.

When describing the new species C. leiantha , Bentham (1859) cited the specimen collected by Spruce near Santarém. We selected as the lectotype the specimen with a handwritten label and with the collection number 1003 found in other duplicates.
