Genus Trogodes Westwood in Boheman 1857

Rojkoff (2011b) redefined and revised the genus, describing a new subgenus (Phaenetrogodes Rojkoff, 2011) and providing a key for its species. There are six and three recognized species in the nominal and Phaenetrogodes subgenera, respectively ( Rojkoff 2011b). Two species of the nominal subgenus were recorded for Angola ( Rojkoff 2011b). We give a new species record for this country belonging to the nominal subgenus.
