Tribe Clinophaestini View in CoL Storozhenko, trib. nov.
Type genus: Clinophaestus Storozhenko , gen. nov., here designated.
Description. Head in lateral view oblique ( Fig. 25 View FIGURES 22 – 34 ). Fastiguim of vertex produced far beyond anterior margin of eyes, forming triangular rostrum ( Figs. 26, 27 View FIGURES 22 – 34 ). Lateral ocelli in frontal view situated near the middle of eyes ( Fig. 27 View FIGURES 22 – 34 ). Antennae 8–11-segmented; five mid segments are flattened and provided with apical projections; 2–3 apical segments are small and narrow ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 22 – 34 ). Lower side of lateral lobes of pronotum without spine ( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 22 – 34 ). Fore and mid femora not sulcate above, upper carinae straight, gentle serrated, lower carinae weakly sinuated ( Fig. 29 View FIGURES 22 – 34 ). Hind femora stout; upper and lower carinae broadly rounded, serrated, without teeth ( Fig. 28 View FIGURES 22 – 34 ). Upper side of hind tibiae with lateral carinae gentle serrated; both outer and inner carinae with 4–6 almost equal teeth. First segment of hind tarsi almost equal to 3rd segment (without claws); third segment distinctly swollen ( Figs. 30, 31 View FIGURES 22 – 34 ). Upper side of upper valve and lower side of lower valve of ovipositor with pointed teeth ( Fig. 33 View FIGURES 22 – 34 ).
Composition. Two monotypic genera, Clinophaestus gen. nov. and Birmana from Thailand and Myanmar respectively.
