Type species: Birmana gracilis Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1893, by monotypy.
Diagnosis. Similar to Clinophaestus gen. nov., but differs by follows: antennae 8-segmented, three apical segments small and narrow; other segments of antennae triquetrous, strongly flattened except basal ones; fastigium of vertex fused with frontal ridge, notch absent.
Composition. The type species only.
