Distribution: Global : Eastern Pacific Ocean ; from southern Baja California , Mexico , to northern Peru , including the Galapagos Islands ; entering estuaries and littoral lagoons and ascending river courses; Costa Rica: Ni , Pi and Tr (Pacific), 0–640 m.a.s.l., Per, Dia.
