Diagnosis: This species can be identified by its wings absolutely colourless, trasparent, apex with a dark spot; pronotum with posterior margin broadly rounded; inside of hind femur entirely yellow with one transversal blackish fascia (Mishchenko, 1936: Fig. 4; Chopard, 1943: Ffig. 482).
Habitats: It is adesert species and found through the summer and in the winter. It is occasionally attracted to light.
Material examined: Al Shati Region: Brack, 3♂, 2♀, at light, 12.iv.1994; 1♀, on ground,12.v.96.
Localities: Tripolitania: Mizda, Uadi Sofeggin; Fezzan: Brack.
Distribution: Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Mouretania, Canary Is., N. Africa, Sudan, Somaliland, Palestine, Arabia, Iran, Cancasus, Central Asia, Baluchistan, Kashmir, Sind, W.india, Nubia, Sahara, Rio de Oro, Socotra, Kenya, Ethiopia.
Remarks: Earlier recorded from Tripolitania by La Greca (1958).
