Rectava sobrinus ( Schaus, 1902) , reinstated status, new combination
Papias sobrinus Schaus, 1902 View in CoL (type locality Brazil: Rio de Janeiro) is currently a junior subjective synonym of Papias phainis Godman, 1900 View in CoL (type locality Mexico: Veracruz; Guatemala and Costa Rica). Sequencing of two P. View in CoL sobrinus syntypes revealed that they are not even in the same genus with P.phainis View in CoL ( Fig. 14 View Figure 14 ). In genitalia, uncus arms are long and wide apart in P.phainis View in CoL , but are small and close together in P. sobrinus View in CoL . Our genomic tree demonstrates that P. sobrinus View in CoL belongs to a new genus named above. Therefore, we propose Rectava sobrinus ( Schaus, 1902) , reinstated status, new combination.
