Alchemilla alpina Linnaeus var. hybrida Linnaeus View in CoL , Species Plantarum 1: 123. 1753 View Cited Treatment .
"Habitat in Alpibus Europae." RCN: 1016.
Basionym of: Alchemilla hybrida (L.) L. (1756) .
Lectotype ( Fröhner in Cafferty & Jarvis in Taxon 51: 541. 2002): [icon] " Alchimilla alpina pubescens minor " in Plukenet, Phytographia: t. 240, f. 2. 1692; Almag. Bot.: 18. 1696. - Typotype: Herb. Sloane 95: 22 ( BM-SL) .
Current name: Alchemilla hybrida (L.) L. View in CoL ( Rosaceae ).
Note: Bradshaw & al. (in Watsonia 5: 261, f. 1, pl. 11a. 1962) treated Plukenet material in Herb. Sloane vol. 95: 22 (BM) as the holotype, incorrectly, as it was neither seen by Linnaeus nor was it the sole element. However, the material is the basis for the cited Plukenet illustration, and the latter was formally designated as lectotype by Fröhner.
