Neaera hyalina Hinds, 1843: 76 .
Cetoconcha hyalina (Hinds, 1843) View in CoL — Huber 2010: 513.
Material examined: four specimens from the sea slope of Iturup , Urup, and Onekotan Islands (123–450 m) .
Distribution: East China Sea; Sea of Japan; Hokkaido to Shikoku Islands ( Japan); Kuril Islands (80–650 m) ( Scarlato 1981; Okutani 2000, 2017; Kantor & Sysoev 2005; Liu 2008).
Remarks: Previously, only a single specimen of Cetoconcha japonica Habe, 1952 , was found at (Iturup Island, depth 300 m) ( Scarlato 1981) off the Kuril Islands which was synonymized with Cetoconcha hyalina (Hinds, 1843) ( Huber 2010) . As our study has shown, the range of this warm-water species extends northward along the Kuril Islands to Onekotan Island.
