Type locality: Khasia hills [NE India, Meghalaya, Khasi Hills].

Distribution: North East India (Meghalaya, Assam, Manipur) Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh (Moore 1878, Volynkin & Černý 2019).

Remark: All Indian records as Miltochrista cruciata by Arora & Chaudhary (1982), Chaudhary (2003), Singh et al. (2005, 2014) belong to M. gloriosa .
