Coradion chrysozonus View in CoL (Cuvier [ex Kuhl & Hasselt] in Cuvier & Valenciennes 1831)—Orange-banded coralfish

Status at New Ireland. New record, based on a specimen photographed at Lissenung Island, Kavieng District at 22 m depth by Dean Tully on 8 July 2011; a video of a specimen taken off southern New Hanover at 4–51 m depth, St. KR110, in 2014 (identified by Barry C. Russell).

Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 1, 2.—General distribution: Andaman Sea east to Philippines and New Guinea, north to Ryukyu and Ogasawara islands, south to Solomon Islands. Found in coastal reefs, 3–60 m depth. Marine.
